She literally enters with an explanation of the history of the hot dog.
Never change, Kal'tsit. In fact, please come up with longer explanations in the future.
I just don't get people disliking her explanations.

I played through BB-9 today on my lunch break.
And you cannot just do that!
I don't think they've ever had one of those battles that are just story scenes played out on the battlefield in an event before, and that shit always hurts.
Seeing Theresa have Amiya in a protective bubble, saying her goodbyes, as assassins come for her again and again, until she collapses.
Just, fucking, rip my heart out, shove Originium inside it and let myself explode into dust, why don't you?

Still vividly remember this moment and finding out that Terra's sky is fake.
Like, it was such a wild thing to just randomly be told about, and then not elaborated on for at least several more events.

Just came to the realization about this scene in Babel, the Doctor reaching out and grabbing Amiya's hand, pulling her out of the rubble.
And how it mirrors one of the first scenes you see in the game. Amiya reaching for your hand and pulling you out of the Sarcophagus.
I never noticed just how similar they are.
And in both cases, they're taking someone who's lost everything they had and giving them a second chance.
If Arknights wasn't such a massive story, part of me would want to reread all of it someday. Unfortunately, I don't know if that's possible for me.
Heck, I've been reading around 2 years and I'm still 3 main chapters behind and 11 events behind.

This scene genuinely made me stop for like half a minute just staring.
Because I'd heard Amiya compared to Shirou Emiya from FSN, and this scene made me think more on it, I've already made a post on it, but when I saw this, my mind was just racing and making connections.
Because, the Doctor, someone who'd witnessed so much pain, always trying to limit the damage, finding one survivor of a disaster they caused, hoping to save one life.
And Amiya, seeing this, and only seeing the good in it, maybe even idolizing them in a way, it all seems kind of familiar.

It's not like we haven't been told that the Doctor's time with Babel changed them, made them more ruthless, but it's something to actually see how they used to be.
They understand numbers and simulations, but in their first experience with a battle, the outcome shakes them.
Knowing the living, breathing people that were lost in that conflict impacts them more than the cold and calculating Doctor we'd been told about.

I'm honestly so glad I read Babel before Episode 11.
Like, I feel like it's gotten me a lot more invested in Manfred, Ascalon, and Theresis as characters. Made me excited for what going on with "Theresa", and just made me all the more invested.
I mean, I was a little interested in all of those characters, but Babel really amplified all of that.

Tried reblogging a post about it, but it wasn't working for some reason, but I saw a post that shows the line that got cut off in BB-10, and it just makes me all the more sad about Babel.
Knowing that BB-10 is occurring in the Doctors memories as you play as Theresa, destroying the last parts of Amiya.
That's so sad.
First, you play as the Doctor, effortlessly causing Theresa to die by assassins, all you have to do is place a single box.
And then Theresa tries to take the Doctor's memories away, but they hold onto Amiya so strongly, it's a genuinely challenging stage.
And the fact that when you kill Amiya in that stage, you're actually destroying the Doctor's last memories they were holding so tightly onto of her.
That extra context just fucks me up.

Finished Babel.
I once again am finishing an Arknights event and don't really know what to say, another one of those that just leaves me staring into the distance after that last scene.

I was reading Ifrit's file, and I did not know it would be like this.
All this corrupted data, ending in one clear message.
Never touch her again.

Got to the Elden Beast, which I'm pretty sure is the last boss.
Was a little upset to find out you have to fight through Radagan again just to fight the Elden Beast, but it didn't go so bad that time.
The first time I beat him I ended up with no healing items other than the physik bottle and only like 10 hp left.
The second time I wasn't actually planning on making it to the end, so I just full on went aggressive, and it turned out much better than any of my other attempts.
So, I guess I'll be aggressive from now on.
I am considering going into the dlc now, though. It's only $40, so I can afford it right now, and I'm almost as far as I can get storywise, so it wouldn't be a bad time to jump in, I feel like.
Unless there are some things in some of the endings that might prepare me more for the dlc.

Just realized Closure's shirt is the no-internet dinosaur.
I may have noticed it before, but I'm definitely noticing it now.
